Woodstock's Rental Facilities

The former president of The Women's Health Center of Putnam in Connecticut and a past department chair of the US Naval Hospital in Subic Bay, Dr. Steven Raheb teaches biology as an adjunct professor at Quinebaug Valley Community College. Dr. Steven Raheb also serves on the board of directors for the Woodstock Agricultural Society.

Known for its annual fair and farmers' market, Woodstock Agricultural Society seeks to bring urban and rural communities together in pursuit of the common good. To this end, the organization makes its facilities available to public gatherings, in addition to winter storage opportunities.

The largest and most impressive of the society's facilities, the Oxford Auditorium can host 800 seated audience members or 1,100 standing people. Rental of the venue includes chairs, tables, and access to restrooms and the full kitchen.

The Mutual Building offers a better venue for smaller gatherings with a capacity of 275. Typically used to host the Woodstock Farmers' Market, it has on-site restrooms but no kitchen.

For outdoor events, such as cattle shows, the Livestock Arena can hold up to 150 head of cattle. Its amenities include an outdoor wash rack with water and restrooms. Venting fans may also be added to the rental agreement if needed.
