Scholarship Opportunities from the Knights of Columbus

An OB/GYN with more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Steven Raheb is the former owner of the Women’s Health Center of Putnam in Connecticut. In addition to serving as an adjunct professor of biology at Quinebaug Valley Community College, Dr. Steven Raheb devotes time and energy to community organizations, including the Knights of Columbus.

Established in 1882, the Knights of Columbus is a fraternal Catholic society that comprises more thaiman 1.8 million members worldwide. The organization contributes to community service projects around the globe and sponsors a number of scholarships to promote Catholic education.

The Knights of Columbus offers Fourth Degree Pro Deo and Pro Patria Scholarships to students entering the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. These $1500 scholarships are awarded on academic achievement and are renewable each year. High school seniors applying to other Catholic colleges are also welcome to apply.
